The City of Champaign Township came to us looking for a modernization of their logo and branding, as well as a refresh of their existing WordPress site. Being a government entity, they had a few needs above and beyond those of most of our clients.
Transparency is of utmost importance; the Freedom of Information Act requires an easily-accessible way for citizens to request information of public record. And speaking of accessibility, we took extra care to be sure the design meets the needs of people with vision issues. Typography choices and color scheme work together to make the content easy to read without being visually uninteresting. Behind the scenes, we added an internal page where staff can keep accurate visitor logs.
