Every so often, we get the opportunity to create what is essentially a canvas for someone else’s art. The work done by Buzard Organs of Champaign, Illinois is as beautiful to see as it is to hear, and they needed a website redesign that showcased their work more dramatically.
We built a clean, minimal website that allowed the focus to rest on the photos of various organs and churches. To stay connected with the timeless art, we chose a typeface that’s been in use since the 16th century, particularly in various prayer books. We finished by developing a custom data-entry system for sharing detailed specifications about individual instruments. We also allowed for embedding of audio and video to complete the experience.
